Passed Pre-Bronze dances!!eeeeee

Ok...so I passed the Pre-Bronze dances tonite. Eeeeeeeee so excited!!! I made a little error on the Fiesta Tango and thought I failed. Jeeeezzzz. But the judge gave me a 5.2 on each of the dances!!! I only needed a 4.8 to pass as an adult and she gave me a 5.2!!!

Her comments were great, she said everything an ice dancer could want!!!!

So excited, now on to the Bronze!!!

Awwww, didn't want to come off as bragging. It's still unbelievable to me. But OK...on the Swing dance she said, "strong pattern and edges, good unison, close (meaning we were close eeeeeeeeeee) and free legs match." on the Cha Cha she said, "Good 'run'(not sure what that means but it's good), clean steps, and good rhythm." and on the Fiesta Tango, she said, "Large Bold pattern, good unison, and stylish" Stylish, lol. I find that funny and embarrassing at the same time. I'm still on a high!!!!

Good for you! I was working on the little old Dutch waltz this morning and remembering why dance is so hard.... I just don't have the power or speed. Can do the moves fine, but my pattern would have to be about this big ( ) to actually do it to the music. Oh well, baby steps... I do love dance, though and have such respect for ice dancers. People who think that spinning and jumping is hard have no idea how difficult doing dance actually is.

Awwww...that's why I didn't want to post the comments but dbny made me. lol.

And yes, Mainemom...ice dance at least for me is difficult. Jumping was difficult in another way, difficult on the body!
