Skate Sharpening Recommendations

Hi All,

I wonder if one of the UK skaters could recommend a good place to get ones blades sharpened? In particular, is there anyone who does sharpening that is not attached to a rink?

We'd be looking for someone in the Berkshire/Oxfordshire area, though will go slightly further afield if necessary.

Thanks in advance.

There was a guy called Terry who lived in Slough, don't know if he still does them but can find out for you. He used to work for MK. Also John ... can't remember his second name ... who is the Wifa distributor in the UK travels around various rinks. Both are excellent.

Not much help I'm afraid but it may jog someone's memory who has more details than I currently have
