Showtime!

This week is Ice Theatre 2003 at my home rink, Ridgeland Commons (Oak Park, IL). This is such a wonderful time of the year for a skater like me that I wish it could be a bank holiday!

Our theme this year is Bon Voyage! That means we're doing music from around the world, such as:

Quinn the Eskimo (frozen north)
Back in the U.S.S.R.
Kokomo (tropics)
Rock the Casbah (Middle East)
Hindi Sad Diamond (India)

My solo this year is Little China Girl by David Bowie. Actually, I'm the only adult skating in the show!

Me too!

My club's show this year is 'The Wizard of Oz'. My class is some of the citizens from the Emerald City (haven't seen the movie yet). Tell you more later
