Here's the description:

Our client, MediaZone is a leading global provider to consumers of licensed video and audio content distributed securely via broadband and wireless networks. A Channel Manager is needed to drive the external awareness and consumer acquisition for the critical subscription services.

The Position

The Channel Manager will be responsible for managing a series of sports and lifestyle channels, including the Figure Skating Channel. Responsibilities include identifying and bringing to market content offerings for target audiences, growing and improving content offerings, creating loyalt and driving subscriptions, while leading launches of additional Channels. This person will manage the Channels by tracking and analyzing information in order to increase sales and improve margins, work with content partners, search engines, affiliate sites and promotional partners, and lead marketing and press strategy for the Channels.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in consumer online, subscription and acquisition marketing, strong writing skills, the ability to successfully manage accounts in a fast-paced environment and a passion for sports.
