Which one famous skater would you love to sub-coach you for a day?

Say,if your coach was out and you could have only one famous skater sub. for your coach for a day...who would it be? Please only name one. For me....I'd love to have Kimmie Meissner coach me for a day as a sub. Anybody else?

Frank Carroll - he's both a famous skater and a world-class coach.

I took an on-ice workshop with him once and was very impressed.

Alright, short of the drool factor of John Zimmerman, I probably would take Frank Carroll myself too. I met the guy and he's impressive. Ol' school, but good "ol' school..."

Mao Asada. There's nothing she wouldn't be able to demonstrate for me!

I'd love Christopher Dean, too, but I'd probably be too star struck to get anything out of the lesson.

I have two - Frank Carroll (not fortunate enough to have met him, but I really admire him) and Brian Orser. I've heard/read he really likes coaching adults.

I can't even put Christopher Dean; it would be counterproductive because I'd really get nothing done.

This is really an unfair question - there's just TOO MANY...

It is unfair. I would like Todd Eldredge too! But Scott Hamilton kinda looks and acts like my husband. Except he can SKATE, the Hubby sucks at skating.

I'd have to pick a friend of mine because I'd want to steal his technique in his spins. I know for sure that I'd never be able to match his footwork, not in a million years. I think my coach would have a blast too. But that's a pipe dream for now.

OK, I admit I'm starstruck. So I have to ask: is he as awesome as he seems to be?

It was great. It was a Kathy Seminar. Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner were also coaches.

Anyways, he was great. I don't remember too many details, to be honest, but he was helpful, nice and funny. If I remember correctly, he was quite the comedian.
