Well, let's see how much I remember...

Skated to (all instrumental versions):
Preliminary program: "Hey There, Georgie Girl" then "Yankee Doodle" (mainly for competitions)
Pre-Juvenile program: "March" from Camelot
Juvenile program: "I'm An Ordinary Man" from My Fair Lady
Intermediate program: Intermission from Cabaret
Novice program: "Overture/Nuttycracker Suite" from Thoroughly Modern Millie

Synchro program music:
06-07 season: "Scorchio" by Bond
07-08 season: "Mission" by Leahy

The music I always wanted to skate to is the music I'm using for my Novice freestyle.

Good lawrd Tim, that's a LOT of skating!

I have only done 3 competitions:
2007 CAN (Adult Nationals) & Super Skate 2007, "Don't Fence Me In" by Squeek Steele

2008 CAN
Interpretive, "Dunsmore Lassies" by The Chieftains
Bronze Free, "O'Sullivan's March" by The Chieftains

The one piece I WANT to skate to before I give up Freeskate, when I am good enough, is "Love Is Blue" by Paul Marriot. That was my Freeskate program music when I wrecked in 1969 before I got a chance to compete with it. That would sort of bring me "full circle" and clear up unfinished business

I've mostly skated to soundtrack music:

Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Hudson Hawk
Stargate
Shrek
The Mummy
Under the Tuscan Sun

This year, however; I'm skating to Malaguena

Let's see if I remember it all:

Ever After Soundtrack
Cirque Du Soliel
The Mermaid by Yanni
Time to Say Goodbye
Pachebel's Canon in D
Classical Gas, Vanessa Mae's version
Disney Illuminations
Desperate Love, which was Nancy Kerrigan's 94 short music

I REALLY, REALLY want to do The Feeling Begins, because that's been my all time favorite piece of music since Jill Trenary skated to it in 1993. I'm not sure I could do it justice though. I'd need a really good choreographer to make me look ok skating to me.

"Won't get fooled again" by The Who. I'd do an ice slide at 100mph the length of the rink when Rodger does his primal scream at the end.

Skated or skating:
-der spion (by schandmaul, it's a german band, the title means "the spy")
-faith of the heart (star trek enterprise theme)
-17 moments of spring theme instrumental

want to:
Faraway and Ruska by Apocalyptica for a normal programme
Matrix Reloaded theme (Joubert did a Matrix programme to this 2 years ago)
Paint it black instrumental version

Rev 22:20 by Puscifier for an Underworld-themed artistic programme
"Bang bang my baby shot me down" by Nancy Sinatra for a KillBill-themed artistic
Passive by A Perfect Circle for a Constantine-themed artistic
Face to Face by Siouxie for an artistic
You Don't Own Me by Rasputina or by Lesley Gore for an artistic
Timmy der Hamster by Zander Frank for an artistic, wearing a hamster outfit
Star Trek Polka for an artistic wearing a Star Trek uniform.
Casablanca by Gypsy Kings for something spanish/moroccan themed artistic

As you can imagine, I have a hard time choosing. I'm going almost certainly with Puscifier for my next artistic, cuz I could re-use parts of my current artistic and normal programme for that programme, meaning I'll have to put less time in it to practice steps and such, leaving more room to focus on my technical skating. I could also re-model the costume afterwards for either a paint-it-black or a matrix normal programme or for most of the artistic programmes I have in mind, saving money on materials and time.

I've never even had a programme lol. But one day I'd love to skate to One Moment In Time by Whitney Houston. I can just picture the scratch spin at the end...

I've only skated three -

Classical Gas (a version with an orchestra, I forgot which) - 2006, ISI FS4
So What, Miles Davis - 2007, ISI FS4
Take Five, Dave Brubeck - 2008, US Figure Skating Adult Bronze

I only want to post some of what I want to skate to - mainly stuff with vocals:

While My Guitar Gently Weeps, The Beatles
September, Earth, Wind and Fire
The entire West Side Story soundtrack
Most of the Hair soundtrack
Feeling Good, Nina Simone
Kashmir, Led Zeppelin
Carmen (but I won't because it's so overdone)
Stuff from Van Halen in the Sammy Hagar era
Who Knew, Pink
Roses, Outkast (but it's too risque for skating)

Tim: Por Una Cabeza is the BEST, isn't it? Makes me wish I could ice dance and tango to it!

Hey Tim, nice tastes! A lot of these pieces are favorites of mine too! But I only "skate to them" in the form of listening to them on my earphones while practicing. I do happen to have a good many of these on my iPod already.

Solos

"Wondeful World" - Louis Armstrong
"Somewhere Beyond the Sea" - Bobby Darrin
"Blueberry Hill" (Rhythem Blues w a bit of freestyle)
"Feelin Good" - Nina Simone

Groups

"Hernando's Hideaway"
"Young at Heart" - Doris Day
"Be a Clown" - Judy Garland

Dance

"Sleeping Beauty Waltz"

I'm working on a new solo to "I love Paris" by Ella Fitzgerald. Hopefully it will be ready for the Lake Placid Adult Camp in a few weeks.

Songs I'd like to skate to (anything on my iPod!) but here are some thoughts:

A Dramatic Interpretive to "Simple Gifts" - Yo Yo Ma and Alison Krauss
A Free Dance to "Walking after midnnight" - Patsy Cline
Almost any Frank Sinatra tune! I've choroegraphed a bit of "You Make me Feel So Young"
And if I ever am at a point to attemp a Bronze Freestle program I'd love to skate to "Clair De Lune" - another full circle story. This was my very last Piano Recital song when I was a sophomore in High School.
