Pre-Bronze MITF 3-turns
Hi,
On the judges form for Adult Pre-Bronze MITF, there is a note that says that Alternating Forward 3-turns may be accepted in place of the new 3-turn pattern. Does anyone know how long this is valid until? I've practiced both but my alternating 3's are much cleaner than the new pattern. Thanks! |

I think that's until the end of August, because rule changes go into effect on 9/1.

I would check with the USFSA to make sure (go to their website and look up an athlete programs or rules or testing staff person) and then when you get a response, take your e-mail with you to the test session and give it to your coach to hold at rinkside. When you tell the judges at the beginning of the test what pattern you're doing, and if they say you can't do it, you'll have proof with you. Better safe than sorry.

Beginning 9/1 the adult 3 turn pattern MUST be used. Until then, either is acceptable
