How are the coaches at Aviator - Brooklyn?

(I'm going through my semi-annual "Should I Move Back to NYC" internal debate)

Chelsea Piers is insanely expensive...I'm sure the coaches at Aviator are good, I'm just curious since it's a fairly new rink and they don't seem to be affiliated with Skating Club of NY? I guess maybe the question in general is how is it for adult skaters?

Thanks!

I send you a PM three!!! (Just kidding, I didn't! I just wanted to have some fun since everyone's posting that. Understandably so too...)

I wish I could provide you with a recommendation, but I've only skated there like TWICE? Ice is a bit hard, but I'm TOTALLY spoiled by my home ice in San Francisco... but I can tell 'ya the few times I've been there (around Christmas time) their FS sessions were pretty empty. The times I was there there were just a couple of people and the rest of the group consist of our Christmas meetup group!

OTOH, if you do decide to move to NYC, you'll have PLENTY of skatingforums skating buddies around the area too! (And of course, I will come back around Christmas time or whenever I could make it to NYC to skate. )

Thanks guys (Jazz, LOL!)

I'm just toying with the idea of moving for now...skating is so great here in NC for adults I'm really getting spoiled.

But hey, if I move I can make the Christmas meetup
