Pardon my ignorance but what is an interpretive test? I know about interp. programs in competitions, but never heard of a test?

In any event - good luck!!

It's a Canadian thing. There are four Interpretive test levels. Introductory, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each level builds on the level before it and you are judged on things like edge quality, control, use of the whole body, use of movements that are on different levels such as spirals, lunges, camel spins, arabesques, sitspins and hydroblading (hydroblading is not expected at the Intro level, but it is allowed) Only single jumps are allowed and only if the music calls for it and it is in keeping with the overall artistry of the entire theme. I passed my Intro last spring and am working on a Bronze Interpretive program now that I hope to be able to test in May.

Best wishes to you, Justine_R Let us know how it goes.
