Milwaukee, WI Skating

Looks like I might be moving to the Milwaukee area. I know nothing about the figure skating climate there. Are there good coaches and competitive rinks? I'm going to visit this coming Friday and Saturday to check it out. If anyone has any rink recommendations I would appreciate it.

There are several rinks, the main one being the Pettit Center in West Allis, then there's Wilson Park on the south side, and Eble and the Ponds out in Brookfield. Farther to the west is Nagawaukee in Delafield, and to the north is Ozaukee in Cedarburg.

There are lots of coaches of all levels for freestyle, much more limited for dance but it's growing (I go to Chicago for my lessons, a few others do too). If it looks like you are indeed moving, feel free to PM me & I can give you more details.

The Wisconsin FSC is the main / most active club in the city.
