OMG!!! Makes me almost want to take up ice dancing... ALMOST!!! (Yes, I think Stephane's adorable...well, if I was 12 years younger and all... )

Hmm, that was...interesting. Not quite as strong as I would have imagined, but still a decent job from Stephane. (Maybe it was the girl's skating I didn't care for...). I still think he's a better freestyler though, but I gotta give the guy credit.

Given that he's not a dancer & doesn't look like he's had much dance training it wasn't *that* bad. Kudos to the partner who hangs in there all the way through! To me it looks like they're just playing around for fun.

It definitely looked stronger than Joubert's kilian (at least to my untrained eye):

Darn! It's (the Joubert vid) been removed!!

I thought it was remarkable of Lambiel to attempt a high level dance (one that can look really crappy if not skated well) with that amount of security for a first go of it AND to partner decently too!

I found Joubert's dance:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=myoICkrMcZs

If that doesn't work, just go to youtube and search "Joubert Killian". It came right up.

And I take back what I said about Stephane's Quickstep. Joubert's Killian looks much sloppier, but it was still neat to watch!
