best place to sell used skates?

I have a pair, maybe worn 10 times, that I would like to sell... I browsed ebay and the better skates don't seem to do that well. Is there a good swap/sell board online?

Thanks!

Is there anywhere in your city to sell used skates? The skate shops here do a lot of consignment business.

No.... I am currently in Sun Valley, Idaho, and though skating is big here, the one tiny skate shop doesn't take them. They have a "swap" each year, but it is all kid sizes..

some people post at http://www.sk8stuff.com at the skate exchange but I'm not sure how the turnover is. Others use Ebay.

Apart from the skate shop and ebay you could also put a notice up at your rink. The problem is, though, that second hand skates tend to go for a lot less than when you bought them no matter how good the condition

Where I live is skating heaven in many ways (Sun Valley, Idaho), but it is a resort town and 100% dead right now, so I can't put up a sign.

I will just try the s8tstuff.com site, and if that doesn't work, ebay. I know you get lose a lot when selling anything used, but I am asking less than 1/2 the full price when they were new (they were around $375 new) OBO.

Thanks for your help, I will check out the trading post as well!
