Growth Insoles?

I'm curious to know if anyone has any experience with the growth insoles you can have put in Klingbeils; do they work? Given that my kid is on a perpetual growth spurt, if they really do work, it would be nice to be able to cut down a bit on the frequency of skate replacements, and, the need to break in new skates (always at the most inconvenient time). Haven't tried them yet, but, we're heading for a fitting next month for a new pair ...

I know someone who got them for her daughter and was happy with the result.
