Smead Skating Arena in Springfield MA.

Say,is there anyone out there who is either familar with it, or better yet skates there that would happen to know of any kind of Competition Schedule? Along with how often they have them if they do? As well as when it is usually up? Also does anyone have any idea on a price-range there? Thanks.

All the information is on the site, if you look. The schedules are part of the membership forms, along with prices and levels.

This is the pdf link for summer ice times:

ETA: It doesn't look as if Little Sun Valley has ice at Smead Arena in the summer. But your best bet is to call the rink and ask them directly.

Little Sun Valley SC usually has a Basic Skills competition in the late fall, but I don't think they have a USFS Open or anything. They may occasionally host the Bay State Games, but there are so many rinks in Massachusetts that I doubt any one rink gets to have it very often.

Oh, and they don't have a synchro team AFAIK.

Bay State Winter Games figure skating is hosted by Christmas Brook FSC in Williamstown, MA. and has been for many, many years.

Little Sun Valley hosted a Basic Skills competition at the Enfield rink in May. I don't see anything yet on the schedule for one in the fall. Their website is pretty complete and up-to-date.

I think I mixed up the MA state games with NY. I'm pretty sure NY moves theirs around

Also, I think maybe the fall Basic Skills comp I'm thinking of is hosted by SC of Springfield. My grandfather used to take me skating at some of those rinks when I was a kid, but I haven't skated in that area in years now- I had forgotten LSV has ice in Enfield too. I used to go to public skate in Enfield all the time when I was younger.

Say everyone. My mom and I just went to check it out on our vacation, and we found it closed. They were painting and fixing it up though. So even though the guy told us they would open at the begining of Aug. We are not totally sure if he ment that's when they would be done fixing up. Or like we were thinking too,if there a Rink that closes for the Summer. Unlike other Rinks. Does anyone know what their normal schedule is? LOL,also from the outside, I can only hope that the way it looks is not staying like that. LOL. Get it?
