"Rink lobby" Olympics

I was just thinking the other day that we skaters would do pretty well in a "Rink Lobby Olympic Games"

Events could be
--Skate bag dead lift
--Skate bag and hockey bag moguls
--Sprints to the ladies room
--Speed tying of laces

What other events can you think of

Black Sheep, you would have a lock on the "sprint to locker, open locker, grab music, and sprint back to ice IN SKATES" event.

How about the "toe pick walk" for those not wearing guards?

Skate Bag Cram

Who can cram the most stuff into a skate bag in the shortest amount of time.

(I just cleaned mine out and found $3 in change, 7 or 8 CDs, 3 pairs of gloves, several lipsticks, tons of receipts from the rink, 1 boot cover, 1 leg warmer, several xerox copies of dance patterns, miscellaneous other makeup, several ink pens, miscellaneous hair fasteners and barretts... not counting the obvious like skates, guards, towel, warm-up jacket. And I still had space for more.)

If our rink is anything to go by, the major championships are: Who can spin out rushing to the loo to blow her nose for the longest believable time during her lesson?

How about the Rush in From Work to the Rink. This would include.
1. Sprinting from car in parking lot to rink.
2. Getting bag on the bench, getting practice clothes, running to the bathroom to change, with a mandatory stop either to or from the bathroom to sign in for freestyle at the front desk.
3. Making sure you have everything you need, CD, tissues, water, etc.
4. Putting on skates!

Or the reverse...

Rushing to Work after skating...

1. Rushing to get skates off
2. Driving madly to work without breaking too many speed limits
3. Making sure one has all of one's work clothes with one
4. Clock watching during all of the above to make sure one isn't late

I am ready to compete in both of those last two events! ;-)

How about the sprint back to the car because you pulled your CD out to listen!

How about:

1/ How many tissues can you stuff up the pants of your skating dress
2/ Who is the quickest at finding your skate guards after a public session
3/ Who has the greatest wedgie?
4/ Who can get their music on the most during a figure session

or the one my coach used to tell me about

5/ Who has the longest string of snot coming out of their nose during a sit spin

Will come back when I think of more.

The Lost and Found Dive.

Our rink keeps everything in a big barrel, and you have to lean waaaay in over the side and dig your way down to the bottom, with your legs kicking up in the air.

The Kids are Pigs Obstacle Course

Get to the rink without tripping on the overflow -- gloves, guards, clothes, half-eaten food, cd jewel boxes, etc.
