Skating Today

Well today after work I go and pick up my skates from my group lesson coach, who has had them since Friday so that they could get sharpened. I am then going to go to another rink close by to pratice with them since the last and first time I wore them on Friday they had the factory sharpening, but they still Rocked the Casbah - LOL

Anyway, this week is my last lesson for Adult 1 and then on the 24 I start Adult 2, where we will learn:

Forward stroking
Backward 1/2 swizzle pumps
Moving 2 foot turns
Forward edges on a circle
Forward crossovers R&L
Backward 1 foot glide

Kind of excited but a bit scared. Then again when I started Adult 1 I never though I would master swizzles or backward skating - Still not 100% comfortable with backward swizzles but that will come in time and more practice.

Is there somewhere online where they explain the different elements and how they are done taht we are gong to cover in Adult 2. I want to gett a headstart, even if it is just knowing wheat exactly they are -

Thanks
Laurie

Be very careful skating with newly sharpened blades. You'll stop on a dime and don't want to go flying.
