I passed too!

I took the bronze MIF test today and passed! I had been having nightmares about power 3s and the 5-step mohawk sequence and I passed those with scores a full .2-.5 better than I did last time. The only move I was asked to reskate was the alternating backwards crossovers because I was playing dodge-kid with other testers (there was 3 of us out on the ice testing at the same time). Sooooooooooooooo happy!

After a crappy season on the ice last year, I have finally broken through this year -- competing at sectionals for the first time, passing fs3, passing bronze MIF. Next up is bronze free! YAY! Hey my fellow "AN or bust!" companions, I'm halfway there!

Congratulations! It feels great to get a moves test out of the way, doesn't it?

I'm starting Bronze moves in a few months (I needed a break from moves for a bit after spending so much time on the Pre-Bronze moves lately). I'm not looking forward to those power 3s and 5-step mohawks. I admire your ability to do those under pressure.

WOW! CONGRATULATIONS!

I've never seen more than one skater on the ice during power crossovers, which are also a pre-juv move (as I'm sure you know).

WHOOO HOOO!!! Congrats Mel!!! You're well on your way to going to AN! (I'm still working on those forward power 3's but they are better again!)

I'll still planning to test this summer!!! I'll catch up! (And my backspins are finally getting well enough that my primary coach says that the judges WILL pass those backspins. Now to get my loop or flip stable and landing ONE FOOT!!!

Congratulations Mel!

The hard part is over, you should have no problem with the free now that you've passed the moves.

I look forward to seeing you at AN next year!

I knew I should have checked in to On-Ice sooner.

TOO COOL, MEL!!!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!!!

I know how hard you've worked. A well deserved new level for you.

Can't wait to tell Susan and Joyce.

Guess I won't have to hold you still anymore.... obviously you've healed.
