Broken zipper on Zuca bag!

As I was unzipping it, a thread got caught and the teeth started pulling away.

I thought about taking it to a tailor shop, but they probably haven't seen that kind of zipper on that kind of bag before.

Alternatives?

*I'm saved!*

Even if I can't get the zipper fixed, I can replace the bag insert for only $45 (or less, if I get lucky on eBay or elsewhere)!

That's a good alternative since a tailor is likely going to charge you at least $20 to sew nylon! Good luck bidding!

Have you tried contacting the company, just to see if they have some sort of guarantee or warranty coverage that you may be eligible for? That is the one option that's free! The worst they can say is "no" and then you're no worse off than you were to start with. Sometimes what companies are willing to do is really surprising!

Good suggestion - I've had Jansport backpacks replaced after the zipper broke. Zuca bags cost way more than Jansports - it's worth a try to contact the company first.

Zuca bags have a 1 year warranty. Send it back. Get a new one. If it's outside of 1 year, try it anyway.

Do you have to have the original sales receipt? I didn't think to save it in case of a problem.
