Those bone skates actually remind me of some of those clip on things that I see little 'uns wearing at the rink sometimes...

I dont think even our skate shop could mess those 'blades' up!

There is surely evidence for it starting from 2000 BC; most
historical references say that it seems likely that it started much
earlier than that, about 3000 BC, but there is no direct evidence for
