Groin Pull

Yeah, I'm mum, but, I need skater's advice here:

Best treatment for an adolescent boy in training (just finishing a huge growth spurt, 4 ins in 4-1/2 months) with a minor (fine off the ice, just hurts on double jumps) groin pull who is competing and testing frighteningly soon, and needs every double and flying spin he can put on the ice?

Have fairly easy access to physio, masseuse, sports med specialist, personal trainer ... and they're all free-to-me so any suggestions are fine.

Is it for sure diagnosed as groin pull? A lesser known "groin" injury for guys is osteitis pubis.

I'd go with a top notch physio who can manage symptoms and work on a long term plan.

How about someone certified in Active Release Technique? Look it up online for someone in your area.
