where can I find good instrumental music?
for free. hmm?
or even samples that I can cut and blend together. I need it for a 1:30 program. I have 2 weeks to find something to show my coach.

Your local public library CD collection, or an iTunes type service where you can sample the music and buy just the tracks you need for 99 cents a pop.
The thing is you need to have a better idea of what style of music you want. Classical, jazz, tango, polka.. |

I bought a couple off iTunes, a karaoke version of a song from Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid opening theme, the Pirates of the Carribbean opening theme (which is really popular) and a few others. The ones I got were 1-1:30 min long.. I had to really look around though.

Try Amazon.com (not Amazon.co.uk), which has a wide selection of free mp3s that you can download.
Actually, I can't find them now - perhaps they've stopped doing it.

Limewire program...you can download a lot here by just searching the various genres, soundtracks, artists, titles, albums, etc. I'm super addicted to it!
