Single Seminar/Judging school

There is a single seminar for judges at Hackensack on the 22nd. Has anyone attended a seminar before?
I'm guessing the point is to show judges what to look for when judging competitions.
For those of you who have attened a seminar-does it also help the skaters.

I haven't been to one before, but I am going to the one in Hackensack on Saturday and looking forward to it. This particular one is on-ice demonstrations of moves, free skating tests, and short programs and discussion of the standards, so I imagine one like this would be helpful to skaters (but the registration deadline for this particular one has passed). Others I've seen info about are about judging shorthand and coming up with base marks, so those ones wouldn't be as helpful to skaters. Usually there's an agenda online, so check those to see if a particular seminar would be helpful to skaters.

Check http://usfigureskating.org/event_listings.asp and search for "Judges School" under event type to see what's listed, and check the listings for each.
