I'm so excited! I ordered my new skates on Feb. 13 and I needed them by like Feb. 12 so it was really hard to wait so long (I was duct taping my ankles to get the last few weeks out of them).

Today we heat molded them and punched out a few areas and tomorrow will be my first skate in them!!!

Downfall: My coach says now I have no excuse for some of the sloppy things I do involving the free foot in my jumps.

Just tell your coach that your feet are scared to do it properly because they're used to the old boots giving out!

I'm in my new boots and my coach told me I can use the "new boots" excuse for exactly one week only!!!
