something's not quite right here...

this ebay store has some dresses that are strikingly similar to some Rosie Wear dresses. And by similar, I mean identical.

Case in point.
Ebay Rosie wear

Ebay
Rosie wear

Ebay Rosie Wear

Ebay Rosie Wear

The Rosie Wear dresses were pulled off this page.

Maybe it's the same person? Too identical to be copies, IMO.

I agree, there's no way it could be another person. It just seems like they're way under-priced as compared to the ones of the Rosie Wear site. The couture dresses don't have prices listed, but I'd imagine they're at least in the $300 dollar range, since the other are all between 200 and 300.

If all of these dressses http://stores.ebay.com/Wonderland0559 are the same as the ones on Rosie Wear, then the owner of Rosie Wear is probably trying to maximize her revenue by selling them for a higher profit on Rosie Wear and selling them for whatever people will pay on eBay.

I've considered one of those dresses for dd before... I just haven't taken the plunge! Interesting if it is the same seller.

Yeah, I'm sure it is Rosie Wear, I guess I'm just surprised the descriptions don't mention that it's Rosie Wear. As a buyer, that would make me feel more confident. Also, there are a lot of gorgeous dresses in the ebay store not on the Rosie Wear site!

I sure would love to find out too, especially considering that I just bought my dress from this seller on Ebay about 2 weeks ago. (I'm also dying to get my dress soon too! )

Did anyone else notice that on the front page the "Elegant SK8 Designs" dresses are all identical to the dresses the Made in China sellers on ebay have.

Does Rosiewear make all their own dresses- or are they just a retailer? That would explain why they are the same as ebay- they are buying them from someone else to sell, either from the ebayer, or from someone else who is also selling to the ebayer.

Well I do know that wonderland0559 is a retailer, not a seamstress. The woman I corresponded with says that she does not have seamstress skills to make changes right then and there. She has to custom order my dress, for instance, b/c of my request for nude mesh sleeves, for instances (and therefore I could not get the lower pre-made price.)

Take a look at this site .... it would seem that quite a number of people are having these dresses made in the orient, and then resold again in North America. I swear, I've seen most of these dresses advertised on e-bay by people in China.

Agreed, many of those do look familiar as the made-in-China dresses. Some of the images even have watermarks from the Chinese sellers!

Wow...does anyone else find that those dresses (at least some of them) have WAY TOO MUCH going on?

Or maybe that's just the synchro skater in me....way too much going on if it's one dress works ok I guess (if the fit is good and the style is flattering and age-appropriate)....but way too much going on x16-20 bodies is a visual disaster.
