2010 Peach Classic - All Adult

I thought I had started this thread already, but couldn't find it to post that the deadline is next Saturday, July 17!

The date for this year's Peach Classic All Adult Figure Skating Competition will be September 4-5, 2010.

It will be held the same place as the past few years, at the Atlanta IceForum, in Duluth, GA.

The website is:
http://www.gafsc.org/peachclassic

The announcement and application on on the forms page.

I hope we can see you again this year.

Chime in if you are coming this year.

Rob

hmmmmm . . . this sounds very VERY interesting, and I am within driving distance. I have not been doing very well in local competitions and have been really getting down on myself, but I'm 43 (and an AOSS victim) and many times I am skating against skaters so much younger than I am . . . we don't have a whole lot of adult skaters around here & I've never been to a comp with any big # of adults, so an all adult competition sounds like it might be a little more fun to participate in. I think I'd be in all PB events, I've passed the MIF and FS for that level. Should I give it a shot? talk me into it! LOL.

Laura, I say do it! We will have several Pre-Bronze ladies competing. Last year we split Pre-Bronze into 3 groups: I, II, and III/IV/V. http://www.gafsc.org/peachclassic/2009/results.htm

We'll miss y'all.

Especially, the hot chick that could do a layback spin holding a baseball bat!

Speaking of, who took the group photo of the team event? The official photogs? I'd love to get my hands on a copy.

The only thing keeping me from doing it is just that we already had the big family vacation planned for early August, and there may not be the $$ left over after that, LOL! But I will definitely plan on coming in 2011, if I don't make it this year.

The on ice photos were taken by the official photog. The award stand photos were taken by several people. Which were you looking for?
