She is finally getting a GOOD backspin!

My 8 yo has always had trouble with her backspin and thus resisted practicing it. Well, her auxilary coach decided enough was enough and the last few lessons he has been kind of torturing her with it - breaking it down bit by bit and then assigning her 50 backspins before her next lesson etc. She was a BEAR about doing them, but she did.

Well today, she was finally doing a nice clean fast backspin with 3 turn entry. She was grinning from ear to ear!

The coach was saying how a good backspin will make a world of diffference in her jumps, spins etc. I am not sure she GETS that, but i am pleased she is gatting it.

Great for her! That backspin gave my dd trouble for awhile and kept her at ISI FS3.
