So if you're really in silver FS, that makes 8 men who have at least signed up. (Of course, it would behoove me to say that no one would withdraw. )

So now there are 4, yes 4, Tims in this event!

oh.....ooops, let me as the competition com.

Haha--you've got your double-jump wielding users mixed up: Kelton is "InsideAxel" and Ross is "starskate6.0." (But with the demise of the 6.0 system, should we now call you "starskateCoP"? )

Oh great. So you're really in this event? Now I have even more reason to scratch.

I know; I should scratch people's eyes out, not scratch events.

I'm really happy with the times for my events, 6:05 pm on Saturday and 10:55 am on Sunday. But now that I see it all in print and see SO many people entered (7 and 6 in my two events) I'm feeling a bit freaked out!!!

Better get to work on finishing things up today. I had an extra lesson last night where my coach nitpicked everything to death but then that is what I pay him for. I'm hoping he'll be able to come with me, but we'll see...

Pat (completely freaked out pre-bronze skater)

Actually, the way it is worded is maybe confusing. The interp event states that the competitors in masters interp level "Must meet the requirements Adult Masters FS event in this announcement." So if you look at the Adult Masters FS event, it states that the competitor "Must meet the qualifications for Masters OR Adult Gold FS."
So there you have it. You're in interp masters.
The organizers just sent out 2 e-mails this evening. You are listed in Masters Interp.

Anyone with Q's can e-mail the organizers at:

Thanks Nova... You are the star... We Aussies are a little dull upstairs sometimes I guess I didnt read the whole thing. See ya.

mskater, sorry they canceled your event, but will you be there to watch? I'm glad my events are on Sat. afternoon, since I am so not a morning person. On the other hand, yikes-- there are so many competitors in my events- silver I freestyle, interp, and spins. I feel so out of shape and haven't practiced much (was in Portland last week and skated for at most 20 mins. at the Lloyd Ctr.). My axel is awol and my coach still wants me to do the whole program despite my inability to ever finish on time (and land an axel plus an axel-loop). Luckily, my coach won't be there so I will water it down!

Pat (completely freaked out pre-bronze skater)
I spoke with another pre-bronze lady yesterday, and she, too, is completely freaked out; this will be her first competition. So, you're not alone.
This morning, a few elements in my silver pair program were nitpicked, and that was both anxiety-inducing as well as extremely helpful.
Two weeks and counting ...

Have a lovely time, the lot of you - and I look forward to hearing all about it when you get home. Or even before, those of you with portable connections!
