What region do you compete in?
I found a thread like this on sashafans.com and thought it was kind of cool to find out what region everyone skated in. So please just post what region you skate in!
I skate in Northwest Pacific! |

You know, I have no idea. Northeast? NY anyway. I think I've only competed ISI. I've been testing USFSA for the past year or so, but haven't competed there yet.

New York State is part of the North Atlantic region (NY, NJ and Erie, PA). I believe the poster is referring to USFSA's regions, which progress to Sectionals then Nationals. NY also has a "state" championships known as the Empire State Games, which goes from Intermediate-Senior, 13-18 years old only. Other states have different qualifications for their state games.
In Canada I believe they are called Sectionals which then go on to Eastern or Western Challenge to qualify for Nationals. I've also heard of sub-sectionals and provincial competitions in Canada, though I'm not sure of their function. |

South Atlantic...I think. Since I've only skated in local comps, I've not paid much attention to that.
