It seems like alot of people on here are either singles or like ice dancing... so i just want to see how many of what kind we have here...

Singles.

I'm not a team player, and I can't lift anyone, and I'm not particularly fond of how lopsided tricks are in pairs (way to enforce gender roles, skating!). Bitter? Me? No not at all.

Hmm --

I do figures, Moves and dance, but can only vote for one...

How about a more comprehensive poll where you can vote for more than one?

It's too early in my return to ice for my vote to count for much but I know what my first target is - Ladies

I chose "other" since I just plain old ice skate around the rink with no tricks.

Men's singles comes the closest for me.

I haven't been to any testing, and maybe never will. I've only been at it a year, and I seem pretty content to take lessons and practice.

I do ladies' singles... that way I can skate on my own terms and don't have to work with a partner... I guess I'm a bit of a loner when it comes to sports.
I did enjoy the spotlight routine I skated together with my daughter but that wasn't your typical pairs thing, more like two individual ladies' skaters skating together.

Don't skate at the mo but used to do Ice Dance (partnered and solo) and Singles (ladies). Also had a go at Pairs which I LOVED but some backstabbing piece of crap spoiled that for me by running to my coach telling untruths Oh, also did a bit of 'synchro' for a while which was good fun but too late at night for me as I also skated early mornings PLUS I had to do the whole work thing

Ladies Singles-mostly, but ice Dancing also with hubby, maybe pairs in the future (if he gets up to it skill-wise)
Done some synchro, but not enough in the group and most were very low skill (couldn't skate backwards )
