Parabolic? K-Pick

Still working on blade decisions. Can I get an idea of what people think of the above two options?

I have a friend who bought K-pick Gold Seals because she got a great price on them. She was already using the regular Gold Seals and says the K-picks are noticeably heavier. She doesn't like them much. No experience with the parabolics, but they are based on the same principal as parabolic skis, which is that the shape of the blade makes edging easier. While this is most definitely true for skis, it's doubtful that skate blades are long enough for the shape to make a difference. JMO, but I think both options are just expensive gimmicks.
