Anyone else doing a competition soon?

I am doing the Colorado College Cup in Novice Short Program, Novice Long Program, and a Shadow Dance. The competition is on Saturday!

Yes! I am skating in some adult prebronze-level events at the Quad Cities Championships in Iowa about 2 weeks from now! I am getting nervous about it but also looking forward to it!

Good luck to both of you! My next competition probably won't be until the Cactus Classic in Arizona at end of July.

I've only been on the ice twice since my surgery, so I can't compete... But I'll be volunteering at Cactus since it's my home club. Does that count?

Good luck to you both!

I'm not competing until next fall/winter, but will be in my rink's end-of-season ice show June 13-14. I said I would help, now I'm in 3 numbers.

I'm going to Quad Cities - to do PreBronze Freestyle (but there is also a bronze person in the event) and 3 dances.

I won't have coach - I was going to bring my daughter but she had a chance to coach at a skating camp. And the rink has been closed for a month and I've only skated a few times - but we do have skate camp the week before I leave so hopifully I'll get warmed up enough not to make a fool of myself. Placing well in any of my events is out of the question so that's really just my goal.

I won't have my coach there either - JSkater and I can put each other on the ice! I was off the ice for a month in April with an uncooperative knee, so my goal is to just be able to skate my programs and have fun doing it.

I'm doing my home rink's ISI competition in June and Peach Classic in August. For Peach, my coach has declared my loop good enough to put in my program, YAY! I landed my first flip there last year.

The ISU adult international is on at the moment - finishes tomorrow - and the other big adult international competition, the Mountain Cup, starts next Thursday.

I'm going to Peach Classic in GA in August. It's 3 months away, but considering I don't have my new program finished, it feels soon!

I'm doing Chicago Open in late July! I've actually started practicing my FS program again (with slight modifications because my sciatica still makes me sore).

techskater: Care to join me?

BS - I am considering it. We are in the process of putting together a new FS (dang two year rule)!

I'm doing the same dance events in the Quad Cities as jskater. No other upcoming competitions for me, though - just exhibitions, a show, and a couple of dance weekends this summer. Looking forward to dance testing so my partner and I can qualify for ANs next year.
