Thanks Terri and Cecea! Yes, let's keep passing those good vibes around! I'm going to take about a two week breather then get started on Novice Moves, but the next test up is the Intermediate Pairs test for Pairsman2 and me!

Thanks, again, I really enjoyed skating that test this morning, and, especially since it was in beautiful Lake Placid--very special!

Wow, that's awesome! Congratulations!
I would like details, when you get the chance. I have passed my Gold MIF but haven't taken Intermediate yet. I'd be interested in knowing how you felt the judging was compared to the Gold test.

Wow, thank you everyone. And a BIG CONGRATS to everyone else who has passed a test, recently, too!

Doubletoe,

Here is how the Intermediate differs from the Adult Gold Moves:

For the most part, it is the same moves on each test with the exception of one (I think--they changed the Gold, recently.) However, when you are skating them in Intermediate, they want to see SPEED, POWER, and CONFIDENCE!

The first three times I failed, I skated them well enough, but like a deer in headlights. This time I went out with more speed and power, and I skated them like I OWNED the test. I even flashed a few smiles at the judges as I went by, and as usually they gave me "meanie" looks back, but I kept smiling, and looking at them with a very specific look, which was "I dare you to fail me!!!"

Some other skaters told me that by the time you test Novice Moves that they want you to almost skate it with an air of arrogance.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to you! I'm sure you feel like you climbed the mountain!

I have a few questions: I'm beginning to work on my Intermediate MIF and would like to know what they are the hardest on, or what i need to work work work on.

Any tips, since obviously, it was a milestone, would be appreciated!
