Jazz: Thanks for the link! How very nice that your coach got to participate. I think it is awesome that they hold the gay games as it allows this sport and others to be inclusive. Very cool that he is your coach! It looks like it was a great program. They look confident! How did they place?

I have no clue, which is why I posted. I was hoping to find out from someone here, but I guess I'll wait 'til my fellow skaters come back. (My primary coach are not the only ones from my rink that were there. If anything, the majority of the adult guys from my home rink were there! )

I think they won this event. It was a tribute to Brokeback Mountain.

Are you allowed to say "DA*N STRAIGHT" about a program for the Gay Games? (OK, it's a pathetic attempt at humor....)

A couple of videos from Gay Games...

This one's my coach's same-sex pairs program: (Partially blocked view though... you'll probably have to go get the DVD to see what's been blocked.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvGVQZQBwzs

And this one is the quilt tribute to his late brother from our favorite Moves Guru. (Warning: have Kleenex on hand before watching...)

Nice program!!

I notice that even though it is a "Pairs" program, they also do a segment of the Bronze Dance -- the "Hickory Hoedown" -- I thought that was really cute!!

Also posting this send me on an hour-long extravaganza of all that is "youtube"!
