The one piece I WANT to skate to before I give up Freeskate, when I am good enough, is "Love Is Blue" by Paul Marriot. That was my Freeskate program music when I wrecked in 1969 before I got a chance to compete with it. That would sort of bring me "full circle" and clear up unfinished business :mrgreen:

As you can imagine, I have a hard time choosing. I'm going almost certainly with Puscifier for my next artistic, cuz I could re-use parts of my current artistic and normal programme for that programme, meaning I'll have to put less time in it to practice steps and such, leaving more room to focus on my technical skating. I could also re-model the costume afterwards for either a paint-it-black or a matrix normal programme or for most of the artistic programmes I have in mind, saving money on materials and time.

If I am ever accomplished enough to be in any sort of show, I have one song that I would love to skate to. I was born in Hawaii and lived there when I was little. We had a Hawaiian Christmas album when I was a kid that I LOVED. (When I was in grammar school - after my dad retired - my music teacher used to get me to sing "Silent Night" in Hawaiian for the Christmas program.) I found it a couple of years ago online on a CD.

I want to skate to the Hawaiian version of "Little Drummer Boy" - I can see it in my head clear as day. I even know what I'd wear - complete with a big hibiscus in my hair!

My first in-house ISIA (yes, that's what ISI was called then) all the low-level skater programs at one level were to the same music and they were all TV show themes. "Rockford Files" was used by the Deltas... I was an Alpha... and we (a bunch of 5 and 6 and 7 year olds and me.. in my late 20s) had the theme music from "Dallas". "Rockford Files" was faster and more fun.. I've actually thought of skating to that too.

Anything from the 1930's or 40's are a hive of gems just never skated too before.I found something from the 1920's and mixed it with a piece from 1947 and won my event. it takes a good imagination for some of them . Iv skated to Musicals a lot as well . I just love the theatrical side of this sport. :D
