What Type of Skating do You do?

It seems like alot of people on here are either singles or like ice dancing... so i just want to see how many of what kind we have here... :)

Singles.

I'm not a team player, and I can't lift anyone, and I'm not particularly fond of how lopsided tricks are in pairs (way to enforce gender roles, skating!). Bitter? Me? No not at all. :halo:

Men's singles comes the closest for me.

I haven't been to any testing, and maybe never will. I've only been at it a year, and I seem pretty content to take lessons and practice.

I do ladies' singles... that way I can skate on my own terms and don't have to work with a partner... I guess I'm a bit of a loner when it comes to sports. :oops:
I did enjoy the spotlight routine I skated together with my daughter but that wasn't your typical pairs thing, more like two individual ladies' skaters skating together. :)

Don't skate at the mo but used to do Ice Dance (partnered and solo) and Singles (ladies). Also had a go at Pairs which I LOVED but some backstabbing piece of crap spoiled that for me by running to my coach telling untruths :( Oh, also did a bit of 'synchro' for a while which was good fun but too late at night for me as I also skated early mornings PLUS I had to do the whole work thing :(

Done some synchro, but not enough in the group and most were very low skill (couldn't skate backwards8O )
