OK, I keep falling on my left kne, and it's really screwing up my practice. My mum has no clue what to do about it, because wearing a knee pad does no help whatsoever. I'm sick right now, but I need to do something before I go back to practice, help!

i dont really have any advice about avoiding landing on your knee, but be careful with bruising your knees! i had deep bruising on my knee last year, and it seriously didnt heal for 2-3 months! mind you, it didnt hurt unless i fell on it, but i couldnt kneel until it healed.

Ok,well what exactly are you trying to do?
Are you doing something harder than you are supposed too?

Give yourself a break.
Maybe it is what you need.

If you are a teenager, there is a chance that your knee problem is not from falling on it, but from Osgood-Schlatters disease, which is not really a disease, but can still be serious. Feel the bump on your shin just below the knee. Does it hurt when you press on it? That is one of the primary symptoms of O-S disease. I know about it because my daughter had it. Here is some very good info that you should ask your mother to read if you think you may have O-S: Sports Medicine - Osgood-Schlatters (http://www.physsportsmed.com/issues/1998/03mar/wall_pa.htm) and Osgood-Schlatter: A Cause of Knee Pain in Adolescents (http://familydoctor.org/handouts/135.html)

If it is not O-G, maybe a change to different knee pads would help. I use the soft ones found in the volleyball dept of sporting goods stores and they have worked wonders for me.
