I'm thinking of going...has anyone been to Olympics (figure skating events, that is) and do you have any hints, suggestions, tips to share before I make the decision to make the investment? Thanks!

Have you found tour group information, ticket packages, etc. yet? I haven't seen anything.

No, I haven't seen anything about group packages, etc. I'm just starting to think about it. I attended and volunteered at the Worlds in DC this past March and it was a wonderful experience. I didn't have time to plan for SLC due to a variety of reasons, but Turin seems possible, so I'm trying to get some ideas from other people who have attended the Olympic figure skating events.

It was the greatest experience of my life. I went to SLC. I was lucky my sister lives there. I purchased my tickets on Ebay, front row, expensive but well worth the money. I would do it again. In fact I would love to go to Italy as well. Post if you get more details...

A.H.Black (who also posts on this board) just wrote a detailed response at FSU on the same topic:
