8-)

today was the day...many people from all over the country came to seattle to celebrate the life of brian wright...scott williams, audrey wiesinger, anita hartshorne, roz sumners, stephanie grosscup ("his wife"...long story) and many others...i think maybe over a hundred in all...

it was a lovely gathering and an wonderful way to remember him (and it still goes on...i had to leave early...have to work this evening)...

my compliments to those who organized it...and my compliments to brian for living the kind of life that brought all those people together...

Thanks for posting, Blades. I realized Brian's service was last weekend and I was wondering how it went. I've tried to PM you a couple of times about the service, once before and once after, but your mailbox is full. I like to talk to you about it via PM if you get a chance.

All people should have the kind of life he did. Just from seeing him on TV and reading about him in Christine Brennan's book, he just struck me as the kind of guy who had a good outlook on things, even when things weren't going well for him.
