I just moved into a new house and am unpacking (and watching) skating tapes, and something occured to me between the videotapes and my last competition...
It seems that Broadway musicals are popular music choices for skating programs...to the point that if I hear "Master of the House" one more time, I'll scream!
I should confess...my program is to the Mamma Mia overture  I chose it, in part, because it was a complete 1:40 without edits. But I doubt you'll see any seniors using the music (BTW, Jenny Kirk's wasn't _really_ the Mamma Mia soundtrack...it was ABBA Musak!) because there's just not 4:00 of music without lyrics on the recording (there's more in the show...but that's another story).
So, here's my point. In dance, lyrics are allowed, so will we start seeing more renditions of broadway showtunes? And will the editing improve?
