Criteria for ISU Elections

Can anyone tell me where I might find information on the criteria for eligibility for election to ISU Council - particularly the Vice Presidents. Thanks veyr much.

Not certain, but I believe the only criteria is that a person be a member of their home federation and not a paid employee of that federation. I'm guessing that the speedskating VP must be a speedskating person and the FS VP a figure skating person -- but with some of the governance procedures the ISU has, there may be NO criteria... :roll:

Such criteria should be in the ISU Constitution. At the present time, the ISU is updating their documents to reflect the changes that occurred at the most recent Congress in Kyoto. Those documents will be available by early August. :idea:

I did request a copy of the ISU Constitution along with a copy of the special rules for figure skating and the special rules for ice dancing. When I receive those documents, I will look this up and post what I find. :idea:
