I'm starting up this topic so people can start posting various upcoming events as the season starts up again. Please use this only to add events, not to discuss them.
I'll add the bigger events to the calendar as I see them.

The ones off the top of my head (at least in the East section) that are "big" are the Moran Championships in Hackensack (next week) and Mid-Atlantics in NYC in September. ;)

Since I just updated the 2003-2004 pro/pro-am events page (http://www.kurtfiles.com/events0304.php) on my site, I've got a slew of info you might want to add to your calendar. Hope this is what you're looking for. For skater/ticket info, check out my site. It'd be way too long to put it all here.

World figure skating champions Shae-Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz have
chosen the John Labatt Centre for a one-night only special show to thank
Canadians for their support of the ice dancing duo. The show is scheduled
for Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
"The London and surrounding area is a very strong figure skating market.
With Shae-Lynn being from nearby Chatham, it was a natural fit to have the
homecoming show here," said Global Spectrum's Brian Ohl, general manager of
the John Labatt Centre.
Global Spectrum and JLC marketing co-ordinator Rich Trella said the pair
wanted to hold the event in a relatively large centre that was close to
Chatham.
Bourne and Kraatz, who won ice dance gold in March at the world
championships in Washington, D.C., will perform along with skating stars
Brian Orser, a two-time Olympic silver medalist, three-time Canadian
champion Josee Chouinard and six-time Canadian champion Jennifer Robinson.
Bourne, a native of Chatham, and Kraatz, of Vancouver, also will invite two
local skaters or teams from the Chatham region to be part of the show.
"After a high, felt by winning something like the world championships, one
often looks back at how they got to where they are and who helped along the
way," Bourne said.
Bourne and Kraatz became partners in 1991. They've won 10 Canadian
championships, one silver and four bronze at world championships and
numerous international titles.
Tickets will go on sale next Friday at 10 a.m. and range from $40.25 to
$60.25.
Tickets can be purchased at the JLC box office, all Ticketmaster outlets,
on-line at www.ticketmaster.ca, or order by phone at (519) 488-1012.

I think Cherry Blossom (Alexandria, VA) and Colonial Open (W. Acton/ Boxborough, MA) are this month...
Cherry Blossom is April 28-May 1 (one of the bigger, early season club competitions in the East) and Colonial Open was last weekend -- results are posted at:

Thanks Sylvia... haven't been back home to Colonial in awhile. Wow, can't believe Kristen Ward is competing again this year
Found a web page for this show: http://www.skatingforthetroops.com/

Does anyone know if there is an application somewhere for this competition? I looked on The Skating Club of NY website and there is nothing there. They do have the dates posted though, that is why I was wondering.
