I'm trying to figure out my skating calendar for the next few years:). I have a few questions:

~Does anyone know when tickets for SC 2004 and Worlds 2006 will go on sale? (I would guess around the time of SC 2003 for SC 2004...is that right?)

~What might the price-range be?

~Might non-Canadians get stuck in the ends of the arena, like I'd heard something about at 2001 Worlds?

Thanks!

2004 Skate Canada tickets will probably be on sale by the end of this year's Skate Canada ..... that's how it's been the last couple of years ..... as for price, it'll probably be around 150 - 175.

As for 2006 worlds ... I'd imagine tickets would probably start going on sale around the end of 2004 worlds. Decent tickets will probably cost around 1,500.

I wouldn't say non-canadians have no chance of getting good seats .... somehow, we just end up being quicker in getting them, hahaha.

Any word where the 2004 Skate Canada will be? Yes, the tickets usually go on sale shortly after Skate Canada....

I had lower bowl tickets for 2001 Worlds and they cost $599 Canadian. I bought them in June of 2000 when they went on sale. Skate Canada will be announcing ticket information for 2006 Worlds in the fall of 2004.

I also paid $CA599 for lower bowl in Vancouver. In Washington the tickets were $US700, roughly $CA1100 at the time. US always charges more for events. VGL- are you going to Thornhill this w/e? Or to SC in Mississauga?

Thanks, everyone...that was a big help.

There was talk that next year's SC would be in London, Ont., but I don't know if that's official.

Hey Dawn!!

I did the Mariposa Gala last week and have a sales conference this weekend. Will possibly be at SC if someone has a decent ticket they can't use LOL.

Kara, I don't know if SC will be in London next year. It seems too close to Mississauga. But then SC was in Mississauga only 3 years ago and it's back now so who knows, if the London area bids on SC and the powers that be like it, then it will be in London.
