There's an article in a Russion newspaper that says Peter will skate professional with Pasha. The text of the following article is the result of the translation. We'll see if it happens.

First of all, this is not really a newspaper. Just a board run by a gossipy self-proclaimed "figure skating expert".

Anyway, I think that the most interesting part of the gossip is that the author is hinting that Peter's current partner might be PREGNANT. Which is the reason Peter is free to skate with Oxana now. Although Peter has nothing to do with his current partner's "interesting situation"...

Thanks for the insight. I actually heard this story from a figure skating journalist here in the US. I found this "gossipy" board story interesting. Originally, Peter was petitioning the Russian federation to allow Pasha to represent the US, but eventually came to realize that was absurd. Which translation service do you suggest?

Well, I love Pasha's skating, she has the best edges I've ever seen in my entire LIFE, you can see it from the rafters, even, and the technical difficulty she and Platov had has not been matched to date, IMHO, and I'd pay to see her skate with anyone who can really skate, and wouldn't bring her down.

From what I've read the "Naomi is pregnant" rumors are false gossip spread by a russian "journalist", but hey, what would the off-season be without a pregancy rumor?

If we all ask the Board Moderators, maybe they'll designate a special section on the board for rumors and gossip...call it "As The Stomach Turns". At least we can keep that kind of nonsense out of the skating dicussions.

I've been on the net for I think about almost 10 yrs now, use to surf any board I could get to and believe the crap talked about,even on my favorite skaters... I use to read and watch gossip talk shows with real interest for more than that... I've learned after being pulled in,hurt, disappointed, most of all made out to be a fool.. I usually say read everything with a grain of salt, stopped buying all those mags, and have narrowed my surfing boards down to just a select few... I, myself, hate to speculate, and or believe in fan/magazine/ internet or skating board gossip... It's entertainment/ idle chatter of speculations..



I just believe wait until "the can't be denied trut" is revealed, then swim with it..
