I was channel flipping last night waiting for the Yankees and the Mets rain delays to end (are you all noticing how autobiographical I've gotten since moving over here?) and I discovered on ESPN a one hour show previewing the ESPYs.
I only saw the last ten minutes, but even in that short amount of time there were two Sarah Hughes Olympic clips- one for Best Moment catagory and one for Best Female Athlete.
I checked with the on screen listings and the show will be rerun on Sunday June 30 from 3-4 AM (that's Saturday night into Sunday morning). Not exactly prime time, but VCRs don't care about that sort of thing. I know I'm curious to see if they make a big deal out of Sarah having the most nominations (she's really a very different style of athlete than Barry Bonds).
One final ESPY note. There's one catagory that Sarah isn't nominated for that I really think she deserves, and that's Best Team. The US ladies Olympic team took 3 of the top 4 spots. By my standards, that's a great team.
