Sarah Hughes's family

For those of you Sarah fans that have been wondering The Hughes's have 5 kids.Here it is right from the book Sarah Hughes Skating to the Stars.The family is as follows...Amy (mother),John (father) and the kids are.....Rebecca,David,Matthew,and the 2 famous sk8kids Sarah and Emily.

A few error-filled books are out there. But what one doesn't even get her siblings correct? Is this the one by Alina whatshername?

And BTW I undetstand Taylor skates as well, and she, along with Sarah and Emily, plays the violin, too.

I've read that Taylor skates, but I'm pretty certain she doesn't compete at this point. For those who are hoping for another elite competitor from the family, you're likely to be disappointed. If she's not serious about competing at her age (what is she, in the 10-12 range?), she probably won't ever be.

I'm more curious about Emily's plans for next year. Do we know for sure what level she's planning to compete yet?

Ooooops...I guess your right. The book didn't get the siblings right. Though this is the fist time even I've heard of Tylor. I guess the baby is still to young to be reconized yet in the Skating world. BTW. I read that Sarah learned to skate by just zapping out after Amy tied her skate and that she taught herself to tie her own skate lace just from not wanting to wait for Amy. Does anyone have a link to that origan?

I don't know how progressed Taylor is in her skating. It's possible she just does it for fun. I think if she was competing we would have heard something by now.
Hopefully Emily will be back and coming up even further in the ranks.

I know Taylor has taken some of her tests- I have friends at her club, so I look for their names in the Tests Passed section of Skating Magazine each month, and I saw her listed a month or two ago. I want to say for Pre-Juv Freestyle, but I'm not sure.

And yeah, there were a bunch of mistakes in that book.

At her age and level, I doubt it. There are hundreds of kids her age and level in the US. Any attention she was receiving would be because of her sister, not her, and I don't think most relatives of famous people really like getting attention for being "so-and-so's sister or brother or cousin".
