Here's the cast for this year's show:

Brian Boitano
Kristi Yamaguchi
Ilia Kulik
Yuka Sato skating solo and with Jason Dungjen
Steven Cousins
Caryn Kadavy
Lucinda Ruh
Leonova & Khvalko
Roca & Sur
John Zimmerman
Silvia Fontana

Musical guest: Brian McKnight

Sounds like a winner to me. :)

Thanks, Sing_Alto! I was hoping Kurt might finally skate in one of Boitano's shows since Brian is scheduled to appear in Kurt's "Gotta Skate" show this year, but that doesn't appear to be the case. It still sounds like a good show, though! :)

Hmm, I wonder why John's name is listed alone, though--does this mean he and Silvia are planning to skate a duet together?? ;)

Does anyone know when this show is taped? I'm just wondering about Kristi and whether or not she will have had her baby yet.

December 19th, if I remember correctly.

Kristi is due October 1st I believe. She has a show "Kristi Yamaguchi's Salute to American Music" which takes place mid-November. She will at the very least host it and said perhaps she'll try to skate in it. She also mentioned wanting to skate in Scott's CARES event which I believe is later in November. She joked in an article I believe that was in IFS that perhaps she'll have to tell Jef Billings to make her costumes "larger". So I'm guessing she's going to try to skate in Brian's show in December. She's quite ambitious if you ask me! :) We'll see what happens. Of course I will be thrilled to see Kristi at all this year!

Hey Sing_Alto, are you going this year to Brian's show?

I'd love to go to Vegas to see Brian's show, but I now live 820 miles from Vegas. It's too far to drive, and I don't wanna fly. However, if I don't get a job soon, I'm not going anywhere, anyhow, anywho.

Sing_Alto, I just now noticed your location! When did you move? If I remember correctly, you were in the Bay Area before? Or is my faulty memory at work?! Brian needs to stage a show in Oregon, eh? ;) :D

Actually, I lived on the Central Coast of CA, about 50 miles north of Santa Barbara. I moved to Oregon on May 24th. I couldn't afford CA anymore.

Hey, good idea! BB should do a show in Oregon. Brian, if you're reading this (yeah, right), please come to Oregon! :D

Thanks for clearing that up Sing_Alto! Hope you're enjoying yourself in Oregon. My sister-in-law's brother lives in Oregon and so my brother's family goes up to visit them often. My brother speaks of how beautiful it is there.

Okay, I'm gettng off-topic here. Back to Brian's show...I wonder what kind of theme he'll come up with this year?! :)
