Michelle talks about working on her new programs and returning to UCLA to take summer courses:

Wasn't this the same school where Kurt Browning, Steven Cousins, and a bunch of other SOI skaters participated in a summer camp? Lucky kids! :D

Kwan flew to New York on Thursday afternoon to start working on her choreography.
I guess this probably means that she's working with Nikolai Morozov again. Her footwork sequences last season really were great, so I can't say I'm disappointed that she's likely working with him again. :)
I'll be anxious to see her new programs and I hope we don't have to wait until next January at Nationals to see them. Hopefully she'll debut them at one of the "pro-ams" this fall (although they tend to be mostly "ams" now). :)

ITA!:D
Michelle is supposed to skate at the Campbell's competition this fall. And since she seems to not be doing the GP this season as well, I think we'll get to see her Lp like we did at last seasons competition. Unfortunely, that also means we won't get to see her sp until nationals, unless she is asked to fill in for someone again.;)

The great thing about Michelle's footwork last season was that they didn't look like the typical Nikokai's footwork, at least to me anyway :) So hopefully Nik will come up with something exciting for Michelle again.

ITA. Remember what happened with the men that Nikolai choreographed?
Although they both had the dynamism of Morozov's choreography, I was glad to see that Michelle's SP and LP sequences were different as night and day.

Thanks for the link. I'm glad that she is going to do things this year the same as she did last year. She seemed to enjoy skating even more than usual, and it showed in all of the great performances she gave. Here's to another great season:D

Another new Michelle article (and photo) from the same paper:

Not a lot of new information, but I thought fans might like it just the same!

Yes, it was the same. While I was unable to participate in the camp, two of my friends went to the adult clinic and said that Steven and Michelle were GREAT about signing autographs and posing for photos. The skating was focused on spins, jumps, footwork, and turns. I hear it was a blast! AND they got copies of their autographed photos, which I have one of, and it's almost as good as having the real thing!
