This is GREAT news!!! I just wish they'd give us a bit more info about the qualifying process and what events they will be having, and when and where.

Being an invitational, there won't be a qualifying process. It's simply hand in your application forms with the money and boom, you're in.

The competition will be held in conjunction with Starskate Nationals this year .... as for when and were .... don't quote me on this, haha, but I've heard from sources that it will be held in ... BRITISH COLUMBIA (YaY for trip!) and will be around the last week of march (24 - 27 I believe).

Thank god it's not Brandon where the synchro skaters are going, lol. But the bummer is now that starskate nationals is on it's own, the arena probably won't be as big as the venues for the synchro teams. Too bad coz this year, skating at the Brampton Centre was SOOOO cool. It wasn't just some arena .... just amazing place.

5 months short of my 25th birthday... hopefully they have intro events. :)

I can't wait to hear more!

it's so exciting! and it would be wonderful to have a great turn-out. That's really what we need to get Skate Canada to keep pushing more StarSkate and adult national-level competitions.

I agree with you Azlynn, I'll also just be a few months short... Although, a lot of the other Canadian adult events I've seen seem to have 18 as the age limit so hopefully, we'll luck out. Now to figure out if I have the time and money to get to BC...
