I know the easy answer to this is: "why not" but one has to wonder.. if she is attending premiers and looking for publicity, is it for skating? or for something else? Is Oksana looking to get into acting or something. I mean, if she just wanted to see the film (Just to see the film) I am sure she could have went out with friends or something. Is Oksana up to something????

hehe If she is I am not at all saying anything against it.. when stars (singers/actors) attend premiers out of the blue it is usually like part of the test-the-waters step of self promoting something.

Or is she in the movie? lol She might be and I totally don't know. ahhhhh hehe

No, I think it's normal for skaters (...or actresses, or singers) who have been out of it for a while back (but are looking to get back onto the scene) to do the showbiz "circuit", sort of as a self-promotional kind of thing. Out of recent events, I think Madonna is a good example... although she was (and is) very successful, I think she really felt that she needed to make a full effort in promoting her latest album (coming off of some semi-failures)... which included an appearance on Will & Grace, and also a free concert at some music store (I forget the name?). In a way it's refreshing to see that she doesn't mind doing these things, and she doesn't feel bad about sort of, having to go back and do these things that she didn't have to do when she was a bit younger-- her heart's still in it and she still wants to do it... which pretty much sums up how I feel about Oksana as well :)
