Hey guys, I haven't seen this posted, it's a more recent glimpse into Oksana's life. It's evident that she is more mature and seems to be leading a more balanced life.

Thanks for the link. Oksana is my all-time favorite skater. I remember watching her at the Olympics and I couldn't get enough of her. She is definitely special and the reason I really started following figureskating. It's not the jumps that impress me, it's the artistry, and she's an artist.

I agree, Oksana was an amazing artist on the ice...she was so emotional she colored everything she did...no performance was ever the same -- and she moved in such a graceful, complete manner!
However, as an amateur, Oksana had the jumps! Her jumps were HUGE, close to the size of Irina's; she had a pure and true lutz, incredible salchow, and a true delayed 2 axel, which seemed to just snap in the air...
not to mention she had the best catch spiral I've ever seen in my life...and she went into it at high speed, and hit a gorgeous position, with close to a / lean on the ice, and then got out of it seamlessly and beautifully as well...and her doughnut spin was gorgeous, fast and well centered, as were all her spins...she also had a great back catch spin (perhaps Tara's and Sarah's a bit better, but same league).
